1st Computers

My mother is 57 and she used the Apple II in 1980. She used the Apple at home and mainly used it to play games. For example, she would play pong and later on Solitaire. She really did not know what else that a computer was capable of doing besides playing games on it. She also told me that she would get annoyed with the computer because it would beep at her when she did something wrong. My dad is 52 and his first computer was TRSA or “trash 80” in 1976 then the Apple II. He would use it for home mostly until the Lisa came out and he used those for business. Again like my mother he used the computer for gaming, but since he knew more about computers he used them for business as well and sold them. He mentions one thing he used it for and it was for banking systems.

Computers are practically my life. I do not if I could go without one for a month. Like my parents before I use the computer mainly to play games, but also to send out e-mail, to keep connected to my friends, to check my banking statement. Though the computers I use are not Apple.
