Transformer:Robots in Disguise: Draft one

I am going to do the movie Transformers. I was always a fan of Transformers, even when I was little. The last time I have seen any version of transformers. It was called Beast Wars. The autobots were still the good guys and the decepticons the bad guys. The only difference was instead of vehicles, they used animals. Before Beast Wars, it was a cartoon show, but more popular name for it, is anime. I am here to talk about the Transformers the movie. It was a nice come back after all these years. At first I could not believe that they were making a live action movie on it. Twenty years ago movie producers could not even dream of making a movie like that and make it so real looking. What it seems like most of the autobots are made from the states. Even before they “copied” the cars the autobots look like they were good verses the decepticons their exterior is all spiky. The autobots names Optimus Prime, Jazz, Ratchet, Ironhide, and Bumblebee. The leader is Optimus Prime. The decepticons are Megatron, Barricade, Starscream, Blackout, Devastator, and Bonecrusher. What I am going to talk about is why the autobots are cars and the good guys and the decepticons are vehicles of destructions that are the bad guys.

When the movie starts out as one of transformers talking about how their race was born from this cube and how evil and good was born from this cube that has this power of life. Then it moves into the military personal; hoping to go back home. Suddenly this helicopter appears out of no where that is not responding. Funny thing the military call the helicopter a boggie, which usually stands for enemy. When the boggie helicopter landed at the US army base in Quatar, it still did not respond to the military. Then there was a close up on the “pilot” and there was a graphics distortion of the pilot making the audience seem there is something not right with is helicopter, that it was not normal. All of a sudden the propellers came to a startling stop, again not normal, and the helicopter’s propellers get pulled back towards the tail and everything on the helicopter starts to shift. The strange thing is that most people see helicopters as a good thing of transportation or if it belongs to the military a tool to help with a war. This helicopter was a MH-53. We do not know the name of this creature at the beginning. One thing that we do know is that this creature is not good. This thing jammed the all communications and was trying to steal information from the base. The creature took out the entire base camp at Quatar.

The next time the audience sees something strange is when the character Sam was talking about his great, great grandfather. Sam’s grandfather drew strange symbols and kept on ranting about this iceman. The symbols look like not even hieroglyphics, they looked alien language. That is all for that small part. The next scene is Sam and his father is going to get Sam’s first car; when they pulled in the really used car lot. The audiences see this 1976 Camaro that is yellow and black racing stripes. The problem is the car is moving and turning but there is no driver in the driver seat. When Sam see this camaro it was basically kind of love at first sight; when Sam sits in this car the first thing that the audience should notice on the steering wheel there is this face. To any Transformer lover the people would recognize that this camaro is an autobot. Through out the scene this camaro causes havoc for the sales manager. Denting up another car and turning up the radio/horn so loud that all the glass on the other cars shattered.

Kathy,

The opening paragraph is a bit rough, but the idea is there. Giving the reader an idea of why you want to analyse a film is a good way to catch the reader's attention. The analysis portion of the draft is starting off well, but I might suggest, due to the paper length and such, to focus on one or two key scenes within the film to analyse and disect rather than trying to briefly touch on all the key scenes of the film. You have a good start here, keep at it.
