The one thing I remember about the Over Museum is the Native American leather boxes. I bet it took at least 3 days or more to make those boxes. First of all they would need a certain animal hide in order to have the correct stiffness. Next they need to skin that animal and let the hide dry in the open sun. Finally, they cut the hide and pluck the fur off. Though I have no idea how they get the leather into a box shape. Maybe they cut it and plucked the leather first then let it dry in certain ways in order to get the shape.
Nowadays, nobody really makes boxes made out of leather. We buy them from a super market. The boxes that we get are made out of plastic or cardboard. All of them more than likely come from a huge factory. The plastic boxes are probably made by mixing plastic ingredients and melting them. Then, pouring the mix into a mold then to be cooled. The cardboard is made out of paper and I am assuming that its compressed to get the stiffness then cut to get the bottom and top openings.
